Manufacturing facilities
More than half of cosmetic products volume is being produced in five Oriflame owned factories. Modern equipment and a high standard of production guarantee excellent product quality. Our own factories, manned by our highly skilled and passionate employees, provide a superior level of service to the markets and can respond quickly to changes in demand. Each factory - whether in Poland, India, Sweden, China or Russia - manufactures quality products using the latest technologies and taking the environment into consideration.
Poland Oriflame's biggest factory, with an area of 10,000 square metres and 430 permanent and temporary employees, is located in Warsaw, Poland. The factory, which opened in October 1995, has an annual capacity of 200 million units and produces 350 Oriflame products.The plant specialises in emulsions, although other product categories like shower gels and shampoos can also be produced. Products for skincare, body care and decorative cosmetics are produced in Poland.
India Oriflame's plant in India opened in December 1996 and today has a capacity of 40 million units per year. The plant, located in a suburb outside New Delhi, has a total area of 2,000 square metres and a highly skilled staff consisting of 48 permanent and 27 temporary employees. The factory makes gels, creams, shampoos and decorative cosmetics (lip glosses).
Sweden In 2003, Oriflame bought an industrial complex with an area of 18 000 square metres. The factory, located in Ekero, outside Stockholm, specialises in the manufacturing of toiletries and in products containing alcohol - EDTs. The factory is highly automated and has seven lines for filling bottles and tubes and two lines for filling fragrances.
China We opened our factory in Kunshan, 40 kilometres outside Shanghai, in December 2005. The factory has an area of 7,000 square metres and 34 permanent employees. Today, the Chinese plant has an annual capacity of 30 million units and makes 78 products, the majority of which are in the skincare category. Toiletries and colour products like lipsticks, mascara and foundation are also manufactured here.
Russia The new trading-industrial complex is Oriflame's biggest-ever investment. The modern building, with an area of 22,000 square metres, is located in the Krasnogorsk suburbs of Moscow on a 13 ha plot. The capacity of the factory will be about 100 million lipsticks, pencils and other colour products per year.
